In July of 2007, the Head of the Mayan Council, Don Alejandro Cirillo, traveled from Guatemala to Sedona, Arizona to have a meeting with Drunvalo Melchizedek to bring clarity to misperceptions concerning the Mayan Prophecies and 2012.

The message is very clear. This is not doomsday, however is a new beginning in humanity’s consciousness. Yes, there have been many changes with the planet and in society. We are already seeing this with the recent collapse of old money establishments in the planet, and changes in the earth’s magnetic field. We are, as the Mayan’s put it within the “Finish of Time”, an approximately 8 year amount during which the changes can accelerate as they head towards 2012.

The Mayan prophecies are in alignment with what the Oracle has been telling Kalyn and myself for nearly twenty years now. The Oracle predicted 9/11 over twelve years ago. Enjoy this video series.

Kalyn and I have been traveling Mexico the past month. The trip has been magical, full of many synchronicities and messages from Spirit. Arriving at our hotel in Guadalahara, our daughter wanted to watch a cartoon. I switched on the television and up popped a Mexican talk show host interviewing don Miguel Ruiz. Don Miguel is author of The Four Agreements (Los Quatro Acuardos in Spanish), and now The Fifth Agreement.

Kalyn and I worked with don Miguel in private homes in Los Angeles before he was well known. We also studied with his mother, Sarita. We were certified as teachers by don Miguel. Don Miguel, a Toltec Nagual, carries the essence of the energy of love. It was always a wonderful experience being in his presence. The Four Agreements are powerful in their simplicity. It has been more than ten years since we founded The Toltec Mystery School. Since then hundreds of students have taken our online Mastery of Awareness course and moved into the higher levels of the School and Toltec Path, such as the Mastery of Transformation and Mastery of Intent.

Don Miguel says, “The goal of changing the world is finding an equilibrium between generosity and gratitude – which is an expression of real love.” He goes further by saying that the earth is a living being and we humans are part of the organism of the earth and as such we change the world through our energy. The way we affect energy is through awareness. So, as we move deeper into love in our energy, thoughts, feelings, words and deeds, we impact our mother, the earth, in a positive way.

Toltecs say you are dreamed by the Dreamer, and your life is the dream. I encourage you to dream large, to nuture your dream, to infuse your dream with love. Not only will you experience the Ultimate Freedom, you will be doing your part to change the world in a positive way…truly a win win for you, humanity and the world.

Every year K2 holds a New Years Workshop that is about letting go of and closing out the old year, making room for a fresh, new year. Their yearly workshops are a time to tune into the desires we hold for the new year, directing the energies of ourselves and our new year in the direction we prefer.

Traveling – An Easy Way to Move Your Assemblage Point

The Portal

A core focus on the Toltec path is expanding your perception of self and the world around you. People perceive so little of what is. Just beyond the average person’s perception are entire worlds of beauty, energy, and love. Experience follows perception, and if you want your life to transform and experience the wonder and mystery of life, you need to free up and expand your perception. The first Mastery on the Toltec path is The Mastery of Awareness. As you become more aware, you collapse time and free yourself from the laws of form. Increasing your awareness enables you to perceive, not only different realities, but to perceive the greater Self that you are in magnificent ways. One of the easiest and most enjoyable ways of freeing up your perception is to travel, or simply spend time away from where you live or habitually spend time.

My wife Kalyn and I travel frequently. I am writing this from the beautiful town of San Miguel de Allende in Mexico where we have been living the last month. The town is full of colors, sounds, wonderful food, friendly people, colonial style buildings, cobblestone streets, and language – all different from where I live. Here I am continually surrounded by an environment ‘foreign’ to my habitual surroundings back home.

When driving in Mexico, for example, one must let go of their notions of how to drive, who yields when, speed, distances between cars…it is all very different. San Miguel de Allende is a City with a population of 140,000 people. There are accordingly many cars, but in the main part of the City, there are no traffic signals! Yet traffic flows in seemingly magical ways. When driving you must let go of the rules of driving, written and unwritten ones, you have from your home country, otherwise you will not get very far (and you risk pissing off a lot of people). In North America, for example, if you are entering a main street from a small side street, you wait until there is a break in traffic before you proceed. Pull out in front of someone and you are likely to see a finger pointed at you in a not so pleasant way. Not so in San Miguel de Allende. Here you must pull out in front of oncoming cars. They will not stop for you, but will slow down just enough to let you in. If you wait until there are no cars coming to pull out onto the main highway, people get angry because they will have slowed down for you and you didn’t go. You are expected to pull out in front of oncoming cars!

In this video I am discussing a fun topic – that which Toltecs call ’seeing’.

Seeing is the ability to perceive what is without limitations to space and time. This is very useful when working with a Toltec teacher as a teacher that can ’see’ is able to see energetic probabilities that are coming your way so that you can do what you need to do to prepare

for them. This can speed up your path immensely.

Seeing is a by-product of diligently walking the Toltec Path. In the books by the late Carlos Castaneda’s seeing is a frequent subject of conversation with don Juan. A Nagual’s ability to see is often perceived as an amazing ability by the apprentices, and from the perspective of the average person, indeed it is. However, seeing is a natural by-product of diligently following a path such as the Toltec.

I am intentionally using the word ‘by-product’ as a common mistake of people on the Toltec path is to pursue seeing as an end in and of
itself. And, by doing so, they bypass the very work that enables one to see. It is through the cleaning, clearing, healing and strengthening the human tonal, and by raising one’s frequency that the capacity to see manifests.

Seeing is a wonderful ability to have. In the video I mention how it has helped me, even in the stock market. But, again, it isn’t the goal of the Toltec path in and of itself. The goal of the Toltec Path is to grow, evolve and empower the self that you are. Seeing is a fantastic by-product of the journey.

Speed Up Your Spiritual Growth Through Intent

“Setting your Intent to do your best in the life circumstances you came into and created is one of the quickest ways to liberation.”

One of the quickest ways to speed up your growth path is to harness the power of Intent. Spiritual Mastery is living in alignment to Intent. Living in alignment to Intent means your thoughts, feelings and actions are in accord to your Intent.

Intent is a powerful force that permeates all of Creation. It is spoken of in different forms of religions and growth paths. Ancient Toltecs speak of the Intent of the Nagual, for example. In Christianity the Intent of the Creator is held by the Holy Spirit. By tapping into and aligning to Intent, the power of Intent becomes available to us to speed up our personal growth and spiritual evolution.

What is Intent? Intent consists of two things – will and purpose. Will is a force that originates beyond the Soul or Dreamer. All of creation contains will. All living things have the will to live, for example. It is the gift of will that keep our bodies functioning – breathing, pumping blood and keeping itself healthy. The body does this naturally without our interference. Mentally, it would be impossible to keep track of all the functions the body does.

As humans, we are also given the free will to make choices. After a certain point, healing, growing and spiritually evolving does not occur naturally. We must choose to make it happen. We must engage our will along with our purpose and Intend to make it happen.

When people begin a spiritual path, too often they begin with the wrong Intent. Many begin a spiritual path in hopes it will relieve their pain, for example. It is true that a spiritual path leads to the ultimate freedom. Part of this freedom is the freedom from pain and suffering. However, the path to ultimate freedom inevitably has painful experiences on its way. To heal is sometimes painful. Often it is the very pain of healing that is the catharsis for spiritual growth. Choosing to move through the pain instead of trying to avoid it will lead to rapid growth.

If your sole Intent is relief from pain, you will continually try to avoid painful experiences and making healing impossible. Healing is a prerequisite for a true spiritual path. We must, at least to a substantial degree, have healed self in order to live the Divine in our daily lives. If your Intent is in its proper place – to grow and evolve spiritually, you will be more willing to go through the pain sometimes necessary to heal and grow. This doesn’t mean that a spiritual path is all about pain. It is not. There are both painful and blissful experiences as you advance on your path. Moreover, as you heal, grow and evolve you become free from emotional wounding and the pains of life.

Others embark on a spiritual path to avoid life. They don’t want to deal with making money, relationships and daily living. This too is the wrong Intent. One trait of a spiritual master is that they have dominion over self and life. Dominion is not the same as domination. What good is it if you are not able to manifest and live your spirituality in your daily life? A spiritual master has personal power. Along with personal power comes abundance and the ability to have a positive impact on the people and life around them.

Life is the playing field for developing personal power. If you find yourself avoiding people and life, you are slowing down your spiritual growth. There is a reason why you came into body – why you came into this life. If you avoid life, people and the world around you, you are not fulfilling your purpose. You cannot fully heal in solitude. You can never empower yourself around people if you avoid being near them. You will not be able to manifest your hopes, dreams and desires in life if you avoid life.

Realizing that you came into this body for a reason, that you were born to the parents you were for a reason, that you were born into the society you were for a reason, and that you were born into this timeframe for a reason, is important. Setting your Intent to do your best in the life circumstances you came into and created is one of the quickest ways to liberation. Set your Intent to embrace your life every moment of every day and you will soon find your life purpose.

Take the time to honestly look at your Intent. Refine it and remember it as you live life. As you align your daily Intent, to the bigger Intent of why you came into this lifetime, which will be aligned to the Intent of the Nagual or Creation, you have the power of heaven and earth behind you.

Each and every morning, before you start your day, find your Intent for that day. What is it you wish to heal, grow, or strengthen in self? To the best degree you are able, find your bigger purpose for coming into body, and set your Intent to align to that purpose as you live your day. As you do this consistently, you will strengthen your will and begin to harness the infinite power of Intent. You will find self and your life begin to transform in miraculous ways.

How To Use Energy to be Successful in Life – A Toltec Perspective

Living in The Flow

According to the Toltec Path, success in life comes through the mastery of energy. A warrior always works energy with elegance. I define elegance here as using energy in the most efficient and artful way. At Toltec understands how energy works and the energetic laws of the Nagual. A warrior works with energetic laws instead of working against the laws, which is what the average person often does.

If you push someone what happens? Chances are they will push back. If you grab someone’s hand and pull them, what happens? They pull away from you. If someone is needy and is grasping at you for your love and attention, what do you do? Most people pull away. Grasping at something you want can actually stop you from having it. Repelling something you don’t want, can make it push at you even harder.

People grasp and repel in many arenas in life. They grasp at things they want. They grasp at receiving pleasure. They repel people and things they don’t like. What they don’t realize is that the constant grasping and repelling, not only creates the outcome they don’t want, but puts them in a lot of stress and drains their energy.

In personal development, grasping and repelling will stop you in your tracks. You can’ heal something you avoid looking at. If you avoid and deny that you have an alcohol problem, for example, the problem will persist, or get worse. It is only through shining the transformative light of awareness on something that it can heal and be integrated.

If you wish to manifest your hopes, dreams and desires and activate the Law of Attraction, the best state to do this in is being in the flow of life. You must allow what you desire to be, not grasp at it. Grasping at something implies that you don’t have it. If you don’t energetically have it first, you won’t have it in form.

When you allow both the good and the bad without grasping and repelling, you enter into the the powerful flow of the now moment that flows through self and all of life. You naturally move into a state of well being that is more aligned with your desires manifest, activating the Law of Attraction.
There is a powerful Japanese martial art form called Aikido. Ai means harmony. Ki means spirit. Do means ‘the way of’ or ‘the road to’. In other words, Aikido means ‘the way of harmonized spirit’. The key difference between Aikido and other martial arts is that you don’t repel or block a person attacking you, you flow with the punch or kick, using the energy of their momentum for yourself.

This is an example of an elegant use of energy and is what the Toltec warrior strives for every day.

Do this in your life and you will have more energy to manifest what you wish to manifest. Instead of resisting things you don’t like and pushing them away, simply allow them to flow through you and dissipate. This puts you in the universal flow of life as you move into living in the now moment.

Be aware of where you are grasping at things in life. Imagine having your desires manifest. Grow the sensation of your desires manifest in your inner world. Do this without grasping at them and you allow them to move from being to having. Grasping prevents the having. For example, if you wish more abundance in your life, imagine yourself being abundant. Imagine what you will buy, what you will do, and most importantly how good you will feel with your abundance. If you are grasping at it, it means you don’t yet have it. Let the grasping go and have it in your inner world (your thoughts, feelings and imagination). As you do this you open the door to having it in your outer world as well.

Living in the Flow has other advantages. One obvious one is that when you are not repelling or grasping at things in life, you have more energy, and less stress. You are more relaxed and because of this are able to get more done in less time. One can only surmise that living a relaxed, stress free life with more energy would be better for your health and longevity.

Want to increase your well-being and more powerfully activate the Law of Attraction in your life? Be aware of where you grasp and repel in your life. Consciously let the grasping and repelling go. Allow whatever is to be. As you do so, you begin to live in the Flow where all good things reside.

The life you desire resides just on the other side of your comfort zone. If you resist your uncomfortableness, guess what happens. What you resist persists and the discomfort only grows bigger. By resisting your uncomfortableness, that which you desire stays perpetually out of your reach.

The feeling of uncomfortableness is often an indication of our Source, or what Toltecs call our Dreamer, guiding us to make movement. The beauty of this is that when your Dreamer gives you uncomfortableness or a life challenge, at the same time it gives you the solution to the challenge. The solution lies just beyond the uncomfortableness.

One of don Miguel Ruiz’s Four Agreements from his book The Four Agreements is “Don’t take things personally.” This too is part of allowing what is and being in The Flow.

I talk a lot about living life in The Flow, that wonderful state of being where you feel fully supported by life, stress free, cherishing every now moment. It is a magnificant way to live. It takes no effort to move into The Flow. You only need to allow it to be.

If it is such a wonderful way to be and live, why are so many people not living in The Flow? One reason is that they have a fundamental misperception about it. They believe that if you are in The Flow you won’t have problems, or life challenges. So, they avoid their challenges thinking that by avoiding them they will be in The Flow. Another thing people do, which is related to this avoidance, is they avoid the feeling of being uncomfortable. They believe that if they are feeling uncomfortable they won’t be in The Flow.

The problem with this avoidance is that it negates allowance. The only way to be in The Flow is to allow. More than this, the solution to the problem or life challenge often lies just beyond the resistance. If you avoid feeling uncomfortable, and don’t allow the problem, the solution will have difficulty coming to you. You have heard the saying, ‘What you resist, persists.’ This is true, and often what happens is that when you avoid problems, not only do they persist, they get bigger.

Feeling uncomfortable is a natural part of growing and expanding. If you want to become stronger physically, for example, you may need to exercise to the point of discomfort. If you want to become a public speaker, moving through the uncomfortableness of getting up in front of a group of people will help you become a skilled speaker. If you have had an accident and need physical therapy, it may be very painful. But, by moving through the pain you heal.

When you are living in The Flow, it doesn’t mean that you are problem free. It doesn’t mean that there are life circumstances that come that may make you feel uncomfortable. However, when you allow the uncomfortableness to be, you remain in The Flow and it moves through you much more quickly than when you resist it. If you simply allow the problem to be, more times than not you will find the solution magically presents itself. The solution is in The Flow.

As you allow and welcome life challenges, discomfort and move through your resistance, sooner than not you will find yourself stress free in a state of free flowing Joy, the problem will be resolved; and you will have grown, and become more of Who you truly are. You then rise up in frequency and know the Intent behind your Dreamer – what it wanted for you. You will have evolved to the next level on the Path of the Ultimate Freedom.

Head Up Ass

Those who have read stories about don Juan from Castaneda and Abelar may recall don Juan speaking about perceiving from the knees. In our natural state we can actually perceive from several different parts of the body, one primary place is the anus. It is part of the body?s powerful instinctive function. Unfortunately, because we are a society that lives so much in its head, we have lost much of the body?s magic. On a spiritual path the consequences of this are anything but positive.

When looking at the typical person through energetic eyes, what we see is a large coagulation, or gridlock of energy around the mental body. This gridlock consists of many years of beliefs, and stale knowledge from things like reading too many books and too much studying without application. This last point is by far the biggest downfall of those on a spiritual path. They stuff their head with so much knowledge but apply very little of it. The result is the incapacity to see anything clearly and due to the self-importance that typically accompanies such learning there is little hope that the person will be able to make any movement in their growth, because to do so would mean they would have to begin applying what they know at the beginner level. No matter how much you know, if you haven?t applied the knowledge no growth can occur. And, no matter how much you know, you must always start the application from the very beginning. The path of learning, and the path of application are two separate paths. Learning can never replace application. There is really very little you need to learn. But you must apply every moment of your existence.

Too much knowledge without application causes cognitive deprivation. Once an aspirant goes too far into cognitive deprivation there is little hope they can be rehabilitated. They believe that they already UNDERSTAND the work and therefore have advanced in the work. UNDERSTANDING is not the goal and does not raise the level of being. KNOWING, which can only come from application (KNOWING cannot come from learning through studying), is the by-product of application ? doing the work. Cognitive deprivation is the state of believing one UNDERSTANDS the path, but in reality KNOWS very little. Ones cognition becomes dysfunctional. The dictionary defines cognition as that which come to be KNOWN, as through perception, reasoning or intuition.

A path requires action, not thinking. In order to re-connect with the body?s perception, and to break the energetic gridlock around the head that blocks the flow of the Nagual through us we can do simple actions of the body.

Anything we do to connect ourselves with the physical earth is good. This includes walking, gardening, swimming, are all examples of connecting with the earth. We should walk outside at least 45 minutes every day. We should also get some direct sun every day. Not enough to cause sunburn, but the body needs and thrives on sunlight.

A good practice is to walk with your hands in a set position that is not our mechanical position. For example, walk with your hands behind your back and your thumbs crossed. As you walk hold your awareness on your hands. This brings the energy down from your head into your body.

The gate of power as described in Castaneda?s books is also a good exercise to bring your energy down into the body.

Gardening is a great way to connect, particularly when you are squatting down with your root close to the earth. When you do this be aware of your root and your anus. Do this consistently and you are able to wake up the perception inherent in your body. Women can also focus their awareness on their vagina when gardening or squatting down. This brings awareness to the womb. Women have the ability to perceive from the womb.

When your anus begins to wake up you may find that your sense of smell becomes very keen. When perceiving through the anus you may begin to have flashes of the connectedness of nature, you may sense whether the plant next to you is thirsty or hungry, you may sense that there is an animal close by.

I now live in the country where there is silence and only starlight at night. Walking or hiking at night with no flashlight is an excellent way to bring your awareness down into your body and to wake up your instincts. This is also very good for the eyes.

In addition to re-activating your body?s instinct and perception, which opens up a wondrous world, many are not even aware of, DOING these things (not thinking about them but doing) breaks up the grid that surrounds your head and puts you back into universal flow.

There is a lot of hubbub about being in the now. However, what is much more important than simply being in the now is to be PRESENT in your body. When you are present in your body you will naturally be in the now because the body exists in the now. Your point of power is the body, not your head. THINKING you are in the now is not the same thing as BEING in the now. To truly BE in the now BE PRESENT in your BODY. It is the only way you can be in universal flow or the flow of the Nagual.

Intent – A Powerful Way to Speed Up Your Personal Growth and Evolution

“Setting your Intent to do your best in the life circumstances you came into and created is one of the quickest ways to liberation.”

One of the greatest ways to speed up your growth path is to employ the power of Intent. Spiritual Mastery is living in alignment to Intent. Living in alignment to Intent means your thoughts, feelings and actions are in accord to your Intent. As the above quote says, similar to “Do Your Best” in The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz, simply setting your Intent to do your best you can speed up your path to the Ultimate Freedom.

Intent is a mighty force that permeates all of Creation. It is spoken of in different forms of religions and growth paths. Ancient Toltecs speak of the Intent of the Nagual, for example. In Christianity the Intent of the Creator is held by the Holy Spirit. By tapping into and aligning to Intent, the power of Intent becomes available to us to speed up our personal growth and spiritual evolution.

As humans, we are also given the free will to make choices. After a certain point, healing, growing and spiritually evolving does not occur naturally. We must choose to make it happen. We must employ our will along with our purpose and Intend to make it happen.

When people begin a spiritual path, too often they commence with the incorrect Intent. Many begin a spiritual path in hopes it will relieve their pain, for example. It is true that a spiritual path leads to the ultimate freedom. Part of this freedom is the freedom from pain and suffering. However, the path to ultimate freedom inevitably has painful experiences on its way. To heal is sometimes painful. Often it is the very pain of healing that is the catharsis for spiritual growth. Choosing to move through the pain instead of trying to stay away from it will lead to rapid growth.

If your only Intent is relief from pain, you will continually try to avoid painful experiences and making healing impossible. Healing is a prerequisite for a true spiritual path. We must, at least to a considerable degree, have healed self in order to live the Divine in our daily lives. If your Intent is in its proper place – to grow and evolve spiritually, you will be more willing to go through the pain sometimes necessary to heal and grow. This doesn’t mean that a spiritual path is all about pain. It is not. There are both painful and blissful experiences as you advance on your path. Moreover, as you heal, grow and evolve you become free from emotional wounding and the pains of life.

Others embark on a spiritual path to circumvent life. They don’t want to deal with making money, relationships and daily living. This too is the mistaken Intent. One trait of a spiritual master is that they have dominion over self and life. Dominion is not the same as domination. What good is it if you are not able to manifest and live your spirituality in your daily life? A spiritual master has personal power. Along with personal power comes abundance and the ability to have a positive impact on the people and life around them.

Life is the playing field for developing personal power. If you find yourself avoiding people and life, you are slowing down your spiritual growth. There is a purpose why you came into body – why you came into this life. If you avoid life, people and the world around you, you are not fulfilling your purpose. You cannot fully heal in solitude. You can never empower yourself around people if you avoid being near them. You will not be able to manifest your hopes, dreams and desires in life if you avoid life.

Each and every morning, before you start your day, find your Intent for that day. What is it you wish to heal, grow, or strengthen in self? To the best degree you are able, find your larger purpose for coming into body, and set your Intent to align to that purpose as you live your day. As you do this time and again, you will fortify your will and begin to harness the infinite power of Intent. You will find self and your life begin to transform in miraculous ways.

Having It All

Earlier in my spiritual path I would sometimes look at a person I considered to be further along than myself on their growth path and wonder. I noticed how life seemed to flow for them. I saw how life provided for them in seemingly miraculous ways. On occasion I would even get angry with Spirit saying, ‘why can’t I have what they have!’

Well, now I have what they have and more. Now, I hear the voices of others wondering what I wondered. On the spiritual side, there is the beautiful connection and love from Unseen Friends from other realms. On the human side, there is the incredible love and connection I have with my wife Kalyn, and now the new little life of my one year old daughter, Xelha. On the spiritual side, there is the abundance of guidance and help, and on the human side there is the abundance in form – a beautiful home, land and financial well being. I hear the voices of others wondering and I know they can have it to.

You can have it too. You can have that conscious connection to the Divine and have your deepest desires manifested. The secret to doing so is not complicated. It is really quite simple, not easy, but simple. It has to do with living from Who you are with a capital ‘W’.

The Dreamer Flows through the Now Moment

“To be in the now moment means that you release all of the problems, all of the worries, and you bring the full of yourself to here and now. And within that now moment, your now moment allows your source to flow through you into your life.” The Oracle

The now moment is infinitely small, yet infinitely big. In its smallness, it contains nothing. Yet, the moment of the now contains everything. Because the now moment contains nothing, to be in the now, you must let everything go and empty.

For a moment, empty yourself of everything. Let everything go. Let your problems go. Let your to do lists go. Let your preoccupations go. Let your thoughts and feelings go. As you empty you enter the Flow of the now moment. You step into the vast river of the Universal Flow of creation.

The Flow moves from the Dreamer that you are, into your persona, through your body and into your life. This Flow contains a beautiful dream where all your deepest hopes and desires are manifest. The only thing missing from this dream is you. When you are in the Flow of the now moment you are able to step into the dream and it becomes manifest in your life. This is one of the ’secrets’ of The Law of Attraction. To the degree you align to the bigger dream of your life, it becomes real.

When you are having mental machinations, worries, or charged emotions, your energy is pulled away from your Dreamer. You are off center. Your center exists in the now. It is from the place of being on center that spiritual growth and evolution occurs. The center of a river is where the current flows strongest. It is the center of self where Source energy flows most powerfully.

Take the time to find your now moments. Tell your mind to let it all go, even if only for a few minutes. Tell your mind it can come back to its concerns later, but for now, empty. Do this often. As you do the tremendous power of Source’s flow begins to move through you. Then, hang onto your hat as your life moves in wonderful ways.
